Crash

Hi matabhaine,

I'm sorry to hear about the crash when you click the maximise button. Others have reported this too and we are investigating this issue.

When the Window is resized DirectX does a lot of work resizing all the textures, which involves destroying the existing ones and recreating them. Any memory issues can cause a crash at this point. The next update to the Shoot 'Em Up Kit contains significant memory improvements but we're still investigating the issues to be sure we've fixed it.

Thanks for letting us know about the problem.

John

Sorry you have had this error, we will look into it. Had you just clicked to open Level Settings? And did the Shoot 'Em Up Kit shut down after you clicked OK?

Thanks for your help,
Karen

It didn't crash to desktop, I just kept on using it. I thought I'd better make you aware of it.

Thanx.
