It's been a long time since my last post !
I wanted to share with you some of the progresses i made with my game lately.
I have taken some nice videos from the beta test last week.
I am still in the process of editing them so it will take a bit of time before i can upload them all.
In the meantime, i will share some screenshots with you.
Since last update a few months ago, many things changed and were added :
- Movement in all 2D direction are now possible
- The battlefield is now divided in 2 zones controled by each players
- Different proximity Walls and Effects have been added to each battlefield to display the limit.
- Players can block damage by using a shield limited by an energy bar
- Players can clear the field by activating up to 3 Bombs
- Players can use a dash to escape in any direction
- "Prepare for battle sequence" has been added before activating weapons for the duel
- A heavy hitsunt is now impacting player on collision
- Particle effects has been enhanced for bullets collision and player collision
- HUD has been improved to track Health, bombs and shield for both players
- Trail effect has been added to the players and reduce in size as health goes down
- Bouncing has been used for some weapon design
- Laserbeam consistency has been improved
